This comprehensive six week course covers section one of Story Artist Foundations, focused on Character and Comedy. In it you'll be learning the foundations of creating authentic, engaging characters, stories, storyboards, and story pitches as you write and board a feature animation style comedy sequence.

Seats are limited to 5-6 students so that everyone has proper time to pitch and discuss their work each week.

An in-depth, professional, three section course designed to build and strengthen a full range of foundational skills needed for feature film story artists in the creation of the original stories, characters, and worldbuilding narratives of award-winning motion pictures.

This course is designed from direct experience doing it at the industry's top feature animation studios for the past 25 years, but applicable to any audio-visual medium.
